Christophe Laudamiel is a Fine-Fragrance Perfumer at International Flavors & Fragrances at their Manhattan Headquarters in New York City. IFF is the largest perfume house in the world, maintaining unique capacities such as its own greenhouse, a color recognition program, or a Nasa collaboration program. He has created for: Abercrombie & Fitch, Eigenpost, Frederic Fekkai, Cath Kidston, The Estee Lauder Companies, Ralph Lauren Fragrances, Harvey Nichols, Slatkin & Co. (including CEW Award-winning Elton John's Black Candle and Oscar de La Renta's Bridal Candle). He is co-author of Polo Blue for Men, Ralph Lauren, 2002, allegedly the largest launch and success of a men's fragrance in the history of perfumery. He has two fragrances nominated at this year's FIFI Awards in New York. Laudamiel is inventor on several patents on new molecules and new diffusion techniques for fragrances. He is exhibiting conceptual installations in galleries in Belgium and Miami, FL. He gives perfumery lectures at and is jury member of the Royal Fashion Institute in Antwerp, Belgium.

Laudamiel graduated Valedictorian with a Master's Degree in Chemistry from the European Chemistry Institute in Strasbourg, France, and taught Chemistry as Teaching Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. He subsequently received his Perfumer-Creator Degree from Procter & Gamble in 1997, where he worked for six years at their European and Global Headquarters, promoted to Senior Perfumer. He practiced Fine Fragrances with well-known perfumers in Paris, before joining IFF in year 2000.

His awards include First Prize at the National Chemistry Olympiads and the Special CNRS Award in Paris 1986, a Bronze Medal at the International Chemistry Olympiads, Helsinki, Finland 1988, and the Special Recognition Award from Procter & Gamble in 1999. Mr. Laudamiel is a member of the American Society of Perfumers, the French Perfumers' Society, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the World Wildlife Fund and the French Ligue for Bird Protection. He enjoys running, swimming, and the performing arts.
